Job Summary:

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our software delivery, from development to production. You'll work closely with developers, testers, and other engineers to implement and maintain a robust DevOps pipeline. Your core focus will be on:

• Infrastructure Automation: You'll design, develop, and implement automated solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: You'll build and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software deployments.
• Configuration Management: You'll be responsible for configuration management using tools like Chef or Puppet to ensure consistent deployments across environments.
• Monitoring and Alerting: You'll establish and maintain monitoring solutions to proactively identify and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Security: You'll champion security best practices throughout the development lifecycle and collaborate with security teams to build secure infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools and practices.
• Implement and manage configuration management tools to ensure consistent deployments.
• Set up and maintain monitoring tools to proactively identify and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and other engineers to optimize the development and deployment process.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest DevOps tools and technologies.
• Champion security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or a related role.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Chef or Puppet.
• Experience with Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
