The Position

Etihad Airways is seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric individual to join our growing team of Customer Associates as a remote employee. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat. You'll play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by resolving inquiries, processing reservations, and providing expert travel advice.

Job Summary

  • Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and chat
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries
  • Assist with flight reservations, ticketing, and other travel arrangements
  • Research and resolve customer concerns efficiently
  • Offer expert travel advice and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
  • Uphold Etihad Airways' high standards for service excellence
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met
  • Continuously learn and develop your knowledge of Etihad Airways' products and services
  • Contributes to a positive and supportive team environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively listen to customer inquiries and identify their needs
  • Provide clear, concise, and accurate information
  • Research and resolve customer concerns in a timely and efficient manner
  • Process flight reservations, ticketing, and other travel arrangements according to company policies
  • Offer expert travel advice and recommendations
  • Proactively identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team when necessary
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
  • Document customer interactions accurately and efficiently
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Continuously learn and develop your knowledge of the airline industry, Etihad Airways' products and services
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless customer service

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service (freshers can apply)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
  • A genuine passion for travel and the aviation industry (a plus)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience
