Job Summary:
As a Technical Specialist, you'll be responsible for a wide range of technical tasks, including:
- Supporting platform development and maintenance: You'll work closely with engineers to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of our e-commerce platform.
- Automating processes and workflows: You'll develop and implement automated solutions to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Data analysis and reporting: You'll gather, analyze, and interpret technical data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving: You'll possess excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical hurdles quickly and efficiently.
- Staying current with new technologies: You'll be passionate about learning and keeping yourself updated on the latest advancements in the tech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers and other technical teams to understand technical requirements and design solutions.
- Develop and implement automated scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Analyze technical logs and data to identify potential issues and troubleshoot them proactively.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation on technical tasks and findings.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends relevant to the e-commerce industry.
- Actively participate in knowledge sharing sessions and contribute to team learning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a technical support or similar role (freshers will also be considered for exceptional candidates).
- Strong understanding of scripting languages (Python, Bash) and basic programming concepts.
- Proficiency in working with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for technology and a continuous learning mindset.
Experience:
This role is open to both freshers and experienced candidates. Freshers with a strong academic background and a passion for technology will be given due consideration. For experienced candidates, relevant experience in a technical support or similar role is preferred.
