The Position

We're seeking a passionate and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our dynamic remote team. In this role, you'll be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing leads to convert them into loyal PayPal customers. You'll develop a deep understanding of your assigned territory and the unique needs of your clients, crafting customized solutions that drive growth and success.

Job Summary

  • Prospect and identify potential clients within your assigned territory.
  • Build strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand client pain points and financial goals.
  • Present a compelling value proposition showcasing how PayPal's solutions can address their specific needs.
  • Negotiate and close deals to achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through effective lead management.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of PayPal's products and services, including their benefits and competitive advantages.
  • Conduct market research and identify target accounts within your assigned territory.
  • Employ effective prospecting techniques to generate qualified leads.
  • Tailor presentations and proposals to address specific client needs and objectives.
  • Confidently navigate objections and overcome sales challenges with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Manage your sales cycle efficiently, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with clients.
  • Utilize CRM tools and reporting systems to track progress and measure performance metrics.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth sales process and client onboarding.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the FinTech or payments industry (experience not mandatory for exceptional recent graduates)
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to diverse audiences
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
