The Position

Walmart Global Tech is seeking a passionate and results-oriented Sales Engineer to join our growing team. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere with a strong internet connection, fostering a flexible and dynamic work environment.

Job Summary

As a Sales Engineer, you'll bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and real-world business needs. You'll leverage your technical expertise to:

  • Consult with clients and understand their unique challenges and goals.
  • Translate technical specifications into clear and concise language, ensuring clients grasp the value proposition of our solutions.
  • Craft compelling sales presentations that showcase the capabilities of our technology and its impact on their business.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop winning proposals that address client needs and exceed expectations.
  • Partner with technical teams to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing client success.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies, constantly expanding your knowledge base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments to identify client pain points and opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver impactful technical presentations that educate clients and generate excitement.
  • Partner with sales representatives to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Work collaboratively with pre-sales engineers and technical teams to ensure accurate product configuration and implementation plans.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and optimize sales strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical sales or solutions engineering role (experience in retail technology a plus).
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, software development methodologies, and enterprise technology solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor content to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a drive to exceed goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.
